2. Decide what type of event you want to host
- You can choose between an in-person educational event, in-person registration drive, virtual educational event, or virtual registration drive.
- All institutions have different rules for hosting events. Make sure you learn and follow those rules. For example, most colleges and universities require events to be hosted by a registered student organization. To help put on your event, you may need to partner with an existing organization. The administration at your institution may also be able to help you find a way to put on the event.
3. Get Funding, Supplies, and Support for Your Event

- Students hosting a one-off event are eligible to receive up to $50 in grants, as well as free SODA merchandise.
- All event supply and grant requests may take up to two weeks to be delivered, so please ensure you fill out the form in a timely manner!
