Tips for Gaining Media Attention

Sharing your organization’s interest in engaging student advocates and the success of local student advocacy can improve your organization’s visibility and spreads the life-saving message of organ donation. Below are some ways to gain media attention:

• Post on your OPO’s social channels about your interest in helping students host events and start chapters, about recent event and chapter accomplishments.
• Pitch story ideas to local media, such as highlight a student’s personal organ donation story, describing a local student's event, or mentioning the founding of a new high school or college SODA chapter.
